So, what is Arcadious?

Arcadious is a gaming platform built in Singapore. We bring retro games to modern devices; legally, accessibly, and with all the features you'd expect today. PC, mobile, wherever you play.

We're built around a pretty simple idea: classic games deserve to be played, not just preserved. Whether you're a longtime collector, a competitive speedrunner, or just someone who wants to finally finish the games they grew up with - this is the place.

Why retro gaming?

Retro games were made under serious constraints - tiny memory budgets, basic graphics, no hand-holding - and that forced developers to make every second count. The result is a catalogue of games that are easy to pick up, hard to master, and honestly just a lot of fun. Less fluff, more game.

There's a nostalgia element too, sure. CRT screens, cartridges, cheat codes scrawled in the back of a notebook. But you don't need to have been there to get it. Pixel art still looks great. Chiptune music is still catchy. And the communities around these games - speedrunners, modders, fan translators - have given them a whole second life.

We're not looking at this through rose-tinted glasses. We just think there's a lot still to offer there, and not enough people doing it properly.

Playing it fair with publishers

Games are copyrighted works, and the people who made them deserve to be paid when you play them. That's not a footnote for us; it's the whole foundation of how Arcadious works. We partner directly with IP holders and publishers to license their catalogues properly, so everyone gets a fair deal.

Re-releasing an old game is often more complicated than it sounds. Rights get fragmented, formats become obsolete, and the business case isn't always obvious. We handle the licensing, negotiations, and technical lifting; so publishers can focus on their games, not the paperwork.

We also give publishers real tools to work with: a storefront, marketing support, and analytics so they can see how their titles are performing and reach new audiences.

What you actually get

We don't just port games and call it a day. Every title on Arcadious comes with save states, rewind, and remappable controls as standard; the stuff that makes older games actually enjoyable to sit down with today.

We're also building out online multiplayer, achievements, unlockables, and a "play anywhere" library so your collection follows you across devices. Plus community events to give classic titles a bit of a fresh moment every now and then.

On the roadmap: a secure marketplace where players can trade titles from their collections. Done properly, within a clear legal framework, the way it should have always worked.

Who we are

We're a small team in Singapore who grew up playing these games and got frustrated there was no good legal way to keep playing them. So we built one.
